Computer privacy in the workplace

Do not use a workplace computer to contact us or communicate with us

An employer, such as DND or the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) has a right of access  to all files saved on their computing infrastructure, and may even install software that will track everything an individual does. Some employers have issued workplace policy which effectively eliminate an expectation of privacy altogether.Employers can therefore track an individual’s online conduct. Therefore if you wish to contact us, please make sure you use a personal email server to keep our relationship confidential from the get-go.
