Jennifer Pouliot graduated cum laude with a Civil Law (LL.L) degree from Ottawa University and subsequently completed their National Program, obtaining a Common Law (LL.B.) degree, as well as a clerkship at the Federal Court of Canada, before being called to the Bar of Ontario in August 2004.
She also studied law in Belgium and, while completing her law degrees, gained valuable experience working as a student editorial research assistant for the University of Ottawa’s Civil Law Section Scientific Review: la Revue générale de droit.
Jennifer is currently not practicing law, nor is she providing legal services in Ontario. As our part-time Director of Legal Research and Translation, her current focus is to provide legal research and translation in the areas of Human Rights, including Rights of the Disabled; Administrative Law, most notably in the areas of Military and Veterans law; as well as Access to Information and Privacy Law.
