CAF Deployment and DND spending by provinces – FY 2013-2014

House of Comnons 2A recently released DND document titled “DND Estimated Expenditures” by province and electoral district for Fiscal Year 2013-2014 provides an estimate of the direct financial impact of DND spending throughout Canada.  it also provides the number of people (Regular Forces. Reserves and Civilians) on the DND payroll which are deployed in each electoral district in Canada.

The DND study also indicates that there a total of 6,761 Regular Force personnel and 8,010 civilian employees deployed in the National Capital Region. (A total of 1,265 Regular Force personnel and 1,725 civilian employees resides in the electoral districts of Gatineau, Aylmer and Pontiac.)
